After failing to make a judge ordered £11 million bid for most of Rangers’ shares, Dave King is now set to face court-ordered contempt proceedings. The Herald report that the South African businessman will face a contempt of court hearing at the Court of Session on Friday after being in breach of takeover rules.

The Herald are reporting that John McGinn has informed Hibs that he wishes to move to Celtic if they continue their pursuit of the central midfielder. The Daily Record believe that the Scottish champions are willing to offer Mikey Johnston on loan as part of a new bid.


Aberdeen have stuck a £10 million price tag on Scott McKenna after interest for the central defender from Swansea City and Hull City, according to the Daily Record.


Rangers have made an improved £3 million offer for Millwall central defender Jake Cooper, according to the Scotsman.


The Scottish Sun are reporting that Dominic Ball is set to return to Aberdeen on loan from Rotherham United.
