Celtic have granted Moussa Dembele and his representatives permission to speak to Lyon. The  Ligue 1 club have contacted them about the striker, following talks with the 22-year-old. Manager Brendan Rodgers says the prospects of their season will be seriously undermined if Dembele is sold without a replacement being brought in. Reports say the transfer fee could be anything from £15million to £22million.


Hampden Park’s future as Scottish football’s national stadium could be delayed for up to two more weeks. It comes after the Scottish FA board decided it needed more information before choosing between the Mount Florida ground and Murrayfield.


The Scottish Sun are reporting that Aberdeen could try to sign Ryan Gauld on loan from Sporting Lisbon. The Dons have apparently made tentative enquiries about the midfielder’s availability.


England Under-21 defender Joe Worrall is due at Ibrox for a medical today, according to the Daily Record. This is after Rangers agreed on a loan fee with Nottingham Forest and the English Championship club were assured he would feature regularly in Scotland.

Marvin Compper could leave Celtic before Friday’s deadline. The Parkhead club look ready to cut their losses on the German centre-back who has been plagued by injuries and only played 83 minutes of football since his £1million move from Leipzig in January.


Celtic are ready to offer Olivier Ntcham a long-term deal, with the French midfielder having been watched with Porto this summer.


Hibernian head coach Neil Lennon says he is looking to potentially add one more player to his squad before the close of the transfer window on Friday. Meanwhile, Scott Martin has been told he can leave the club before the window closes. A handful of Premiership rivals are said to be keen to sign the 21-year-old midfielder.
