Rangers midfielder Greg Docherty looks set to join Jack Ross at Sunderland on a season-long loan after falling down the Ibrox pecking order.

 

The Scottish Sun are reporting that two of Celtic’s centre-backs are transfer targets for a number of clubs. Lyon, are apparently lining up a bid for Dedryck Boyata with Lazio and Fulham also interested. Similarly, Jozo Simunovic is a transfer target for Turkish side Fenerbahce.

 

The Scottish FA have told Queen’s Park they will move to Murrayfield unless the League two side sign over ownership of Hampden by Monday.

 

Rangers boss Steven Gerrard is set to pip Blackburn Rovers to land Liverpool winger Ryan Kent on loan. However, the Anfield club are insisting he plays first team football. It comes after Bristol City were hit with a £500,000 bill for failing to play Kent every week during a loan spell last season.

Former Hibs and Celtic midfielder Liam Henderson is set to complete a move to Italian Serie B club Hellas Verona by the end of the week. Henderson rejected the advances of Sampdoria and Parma and will sign a four-year deal.

 

Celtic’s Jozo Simunovic will find out his Uefa punishment for his red card against Aleshkertnet Friday. He’s already ruled out of the Champions League second qualifying round first leg against Rosenborg. However, the control, ethics and disciplinary body could increase the punishment.

 

Former Aberdeen goalkeeper Danny Ward is close to making a £12million move from Liverpool to Leicester City.

Indian Premier League club Pune City have denied ever offering Hearts number two Austin MacPhee their manager’s job. They even released a statement saying they had never spoken to him or made any contact with Hearts.
