The Scottish FA are expected to confirm the signing of Alex McLeish as the new Scotland manager today. The deal is believed to be a contract that would see the former Rangers manager take the post until 2020. To the surprise of no one,  Rod Petrie seems to have been the architect of the move.


The Scottish Sun are reporting that Rangers have rejected a fourth bid for Alfredo Morelos. Two South American clubs have entered the race for the striker, joining Chinese side Beijing Renhe according to the paper.


Jack Ross has rejected an offer from Barnsley and will continue his role at St Mirren.


Leeann Dempster doesn’t imagine she would leave her role at Hibernian for another job in Scotland, suggesting she isn’t too interested in the vacant chief executive role at Hampden.
